Waste Treatment Plant (WTP) Effluent Management Facility Secondary (EMF) Containment Systems

The U.S. Department of Energy, Office of River Protection (ORP) is conducting a 60-day public comment period to support a proposed Class 3 permit modification to the Hanford Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant (WTP) Dangerous Waste Permit.

Revisions to Groundwater Monitoring Plans for 300 Area Process Trenches and 183-H Solar Evaporation Basins

January 23, 2017 – March 24, 2017

The U.S. Department of Energy Richland Operations Office (DOE-RL) is holding a 60-day comment period on proposed changes to the Hanford Facility Site-wide Dangerous Waste Permit. The proposed modification changes groundwater monitoring requirements for the 300 Area Process Trenches and the 183-H Solar Evaporation Basins Treatment, Storage, and Disposal (TSD) units.
